What's collected today.

The site itself doesn't run analytics, tracking pixels, or marketing scripts. Just visiting doesn't send personal information back to me. Standard server logs (IP, browser, pages visited) may exist at the hosting layer; I don't use them for tracking, targeting, or anything other than keeping the site online.

Where the site sends you.

The site links out to a couple of services. Nothing is embedded — clicking through takes you to their site, where their privacy policy takes over:

Calendly. The contact page has a button that opens Calendly in a new tab when you book a call. Calendly collects whatever scheduling details and form fields you provide. Their privacy policy governs that interaction.

Circle. Roundtable Labs lives on Circle. Clicking through to the community sends you to Circle's platform, where account, profile, and activity data are handled under Circle's privacy policy.

The site also loads typography from Google Fonts. Google may see your IP address as a result. I don't control that.

Cookies.

The site sets no first-party cookies. Third-party tools listed above may set their own cookies on the pages they control.

Your rights.

If you live in California, the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA/CPRA) gives you rights regarding personal information businesses collect. Because the site doesn't sell or share personal information for advertising, the opt-out of sale doesn't apply — but you can still ask what's been collected, ask for it to be deleted, and be free from discrimination for asking.

If you live in the European Union, the United Kingdom, or another region with similar laws (GDPR, UK GDPR, PIPEDA, etc.), you have parallel rights to access, correct, and delete.

To exercise any of these, email richard@richardroppa.com.

International visitors.

The site is operated from California. Visiting it may mean your information is processed in the United States, which may not have data-protection laws as comprehensive as your home country.

Children.

The site isn't directed at children under 13 (or 16 in some jurisdictions). I don't knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided information, email me and I'll delete it.

Changes to this policy.

If anything about how the site handles information changes — analytics, an email signup, a chat widget, anything — this policy will be updated and the "Last reviewed" date below will change. Material changes will be flagged on the site itself.
